PUBG: Season 9 (Páramo)

For Páramo my responsibilities were mostly focused on task management, being responsible for the quality of the assets and ensuring that they were produced on time. I also lead a small R&D team to develop a semi-modular workflow for the town and farm buildings.
For this map, we came up with a different approach for the building creation. To maximize the detail and speed up the building production, we came up with a semi-modular approach. We created a set of premade building structures from different sizes, and with walls that can be replaced or removed in order to connect different buildings together. This way we can assure enough variety without having to do every building from scratch. This worked well enough since this was a small map where we didn't need to have many unique building on it.

The screenshots shared in here are the result of the collaborative work of many amazing artists in PUBG.

Examples of our semi-modular construction kit. Our goal was to be able to create a highly detailed set of buildings really fast, since our production time was short.
